Burning firewood is very environmental friendly as burning it results in virtually no “fossil” carbon dioxide being added to our environment and thus helping to minimise the effects of climate change as compared to using gas, oil and coal etc. Also by using firewood we are helping to sustain and create local rural jobs and businesses, also by proper forest and woodland management can help with the decline of our most attractive woodland and wildlife. Firewood is also very much a renewable resource, so us using it today will not effect our future generations to come.
